Our pledge


Our relationship with you is our most important asset. Protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personal and financial information is one of our highest priorities and this Privacy Policy describes how we handle your personal information collected by MTS Markets International, Inc., and its website: http://mtsmarkets.com/Products/MTS-BondsPro (collectively “MMI”, “We”, "Our", “Us”, or the “Firm”).


By accepting the Privacy Policy, and the Term & Conditions in registration, you expressly consent to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy. For the purpose of this document, the term "our customers" and/or “users” refers to you. We are committed to the privacy of our customers and users of our websites. We conduct business with the highest ethical standards and utilize appropriate internal controls. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination policies for the MMI.


Limitation on sharing customer information to unaffiliated third parties


MMI limits the sharing of customer information and we do not sell or otherwise disclose your personal information to unaffiliated third parties, except as described in this policy. Unaffiliated third party disclosures may include sharing information with such companies that perform support services for your account or facilitate your transactions with MMI, including those that provide professional, legal or accounting advice to us. Unaffiliated companies that assist us in providing services to you are required to maintain the confidentiality of such information to the extent they receive it and to use your personal information only in the course of providing such services and only for the purposes that we dictate. Pursuant to the USA Patriot Act, FINRA and SEC regulations, which MMI is subject to, and to protect our customers identity and related personal information, your identity, the information you provide either directly or by accessing our systems may be verified and we may contract with a third party vendor who specializes in identity verification as part of the Firm's Customer Identification Program. 

MMI has a contractual clearing arrangement with National Financial Services, LLC to clear and settle our customer’s trades, carry customer accounts, and provide other related services. In connection with providing these services to you, we disclose your personal information to National Financial Services, LLC to fulfil your instructions, to protect our rights and interests and those of our business partners or pursuant to your express consent. Finally, under limited circumstances, your personal information may be disclosed to third parties as permitted by, or to comply with, applicable laws and regulations; for instance, when responding to a subpoena or similar legal process, conducting an investigation, or to protect against fraud and to otherwise cooperate with law enforcement, regulatory authorities, or with organizations such as exchanges and clearinghouses.


Important information about procedures for opening a new account


To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you: When you open an accunt, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.


Customer information we collect/have


MTS BondsPro (Corporate/Institutional Customers) The typical information we collect may include:


Your name and contact details; Your role/position/title and area of responsibility;


A government issued unexpired photo identification, as required by laws and regulations addressing money laundering and related matters.


Of course, you are not required to supply any of the personal information that we may request. However, failure to do so may result in our being unable to open or maintain your account or limit the services we may provide to you. While we make every effort to ensure that all information we hold about you is accurate, complete and up to date, it is your responsibility to promptly notify us if there are any changes to your personal information.


Website collection and dissemination of personal information


MMI uses standard web analytics tools to gather site usage information for the purpose of improving user experience. As part of this web analytics activity, MMI may place cookies on users’ computers. We may also place cookies on users’ computers to enable certain site features; users who block cookies may not be able to take advantage of all site functionality. Additionally, for specific sites or applications, we may use web analytics to track usage to confirm compliance with the terms of use of those sites or applications.


In connection with providing the best service available to our customers, MMI’s website may receive and maintain information such as user name, email address, telephone number and other personal information only when such information is provided. Information gathered via this site is not shared with third parties unless the involved individual requests such sharing or unless disclosure is required by law.


MMI may be required to make disclosures by order or requirement of a court, administrative body or other governmental body, provided MMI, if not otherwise prohibited by law or regulation, promptly notifies you in order to provide you with an opportunity to seek a protective order or other appropriate remedy. If requested by you, MMI agrees to provide reasonable assistance in obtaining an order protecting the Customer Information [personal information] from disclosure, at your expense. If a protective order or other remedy is not obtained, MMI  shall furnish only that portion of the Customer Information which is legally required and shall cooperate in any action reasonably taken by us, at your expense, to seek reliable assurance that confidential treatment shall be accorded such Customer Information. MMI does not sell personal information to third parties for commercial purposes.


We reserve the right to disclose user information in special circumstances, where we believe that the disclosure of such information is necessary to identify or contact someone who may be interfering with or violating MMI’s rights or property,our customers or other users or to protect or enforce MMI’s rights or obligations. We may also disclose user information when such disclosure is required by law or regulation.


Third party links


MMI’s websites may contain links to other sites, some of which are not owned by us. We are not responsible for the security or privacy practices of non-MMI sites, the products or services offered by such sites, or the content appearing at such sites. Likewise, we do not endorse any of the products or services marketed at non-MMI sites.


We prohibit unauthorized frames or hypertext links to MMI’s websites and reserve the right to disconnect or otherwise disable any unauthorized frames or hypertext links.


Information security


MMI systems and websites are protected with a variety of security measures such as change control procedures, passwords, and physical access controls. We limit access to customer information through internal firewalls, supervision, written supervisory and supervisory control procedures and confidentiality agreements. We also employ a variety of other mechanisms to protect a user's data from being lost, misused, or altered inappropriately.


These controls include data confidentiality policies and regular database backups. Although we take these measures to safeguard against unauthorized use of data, we cannot control internet transmissions and cannot provide assurances that personal information transmitted to MMI will never be compromised.


Policy changes


MMI reserves the right to modify or update this Privacy Policy or other terms and conditions of use of the MMI websites at any time. In the event of a change in policy, a revised Privacy Policy will be posted to our Web site. You agree to accept posting of a revised Privacy Policy electronically on the Web site as actual notice to you. Any dispute over our Privacy Policy is subject to this notice.


Opting out


In order to Opt Out of MMI’s information sharing, you may do so in either one (1) of the following two (2) ways: 1.) Send via Mail – Identify yourself by providing your name, address, your account number and state that you would like to “Opt Out of MMI’s information sharing of any no-public personal information about yourself with unaffiliated third parties.”

Please note that even if you elect to Opt Out:


I) information will be shared with a service provider necessary to effect or process any transaction in your Account(s), or as otherwise permitted or required by law.
ii) If you have previously submitted an Opt Out notice, it will not be necessary for you to submit another one.
